WEICONLOCK® AN 305-78 | Pipe and Thread Sealing. CHARACTERISTICS: Specially designed for the economical securing, fixing and sealing of threads and pipes. The sealant reaches hand strength at room temperature after 25 - 50 min. After curing, an adhesive bond is formed which is resistant to chemicals, solvents and temperatures from -60°C to +150°C. APPLICATION: WEICONLOCK® AN 305-78 is highly viscous and medium strength. The sealant can be dismantled normally. The dispensing tip and the WEICON pen system allow optimal dosing of the adhesive. PROCESSING: WEICONLOCK® is applied evenly from the pen with the dosing tip; avoid direct contact between dosing tip and metal. Mount parts, tighten. In case of press-fit and large parts to be joined, wet both surfaces thinly and evenly. Do not pour WEICONLOCK® that has already come into contact with metal back into the bottle. Metal particles will cause curing in the bottle. STORAGE: WEICONLOCK® can be stored for at least 24 months at room temperature in the original sealed containers. Avoid heat sources and direct sunlight. The air content in the pen keeps WEICONLOCK® liquid. SAFETY: When processing WEICON products, the physical, safety, toxicological and ecological data and regulations in our EC safety data sheets . TECHNICAL DATA: Colour: yellow. For threaded connections up to: M 80 3". Temperature resistance: -60 to +150 °C.
