WEICON Repair Stick Stainless Steel APPLICATION: WEICON Repair Stick stainless steel is suitable for non-corrosive repairs and repairs to stainless steel and other stainless metals, such as tanks and containers, filling and packaging machines, pipes, lines, pumps and housings. Due to the fast mechanical loading capacity of the repaired parts (approx. 60 minutes), cost-intensive and time-consuming downtimes can be avoided. WEICON Repair Stick Stainless steel can be used in tank and apparatus construction, in the food, cosmetics and pharmaceutical industries and in many other areas. PROPERTIES: The pasty epoxy resin (stainless steel filled) has a temperature resistance of -50°C to +120°C (short: +150°C) as well as a processing temperature of +10°C to +35°C. The curing temperature varies between +6°C and +40°C with a pot life of only 4 minutes (with 25g. preparation and +20°C). The adhesive achieves its manual strength (35%) after 10 minutes, mechanical strength (50%) after 60 minutes and final hardness (100% strength) after 24 hours. In the case of larger batch quantities, faster curing occurs due to the typical reaction heat of epoxy resins (exothermic reaction). The compressive load corresponds to 80N|mm² with a gap overhang of up to max. 15mm. The shrinkage is linear and is less than 1%. QUALITY: 100% German Quality - The WEICON Repair Stick stainless steel meets the highest quality requirements in compliance with physical, safety, toxicological and ecological regulations. SURFACE PRE-TREATMENT: Clean and dry surfaces (cleaning and degreasing with WEICON Surface Cleaner) are a prerequisite for perfect adhesion. STORAGE: WEICON Repair Sticks can be stored for at least 18 months in unopened condition at a constant room temperature of approx. +20°C and dry storage. Avoid exposure to sunlight.
