WEICON GL | 2-component epoxy resin system | serves as wear protection for heavily stressed surfaces and as a visual check. APPLICATION: thoroughly clean the surfaces to be treated (recommendation: WEICON Surface Cleaner). Mix the 2- component - add the hardener to the resin packaging. Mix the 2- component thoroughly and homogeneously with each other apply the adhesive within the pot life to the surface to be treated final hardness after approx. 8 hours ready! TECHNICAL DATA: Basis: epoxy Consistency: flowable Colour after curing: green Pot life at +20 °C (500 g preparation): 30 minutes Final hardness after: 8 hours Temperature resistance: -35 °C to +180 °C PROPERTIES: The 2-component epoxy resin system is ideally suited as wear and abrasion protection due to its high abrasion resistance. It is chemical-resistant, mineral-filled and can be used wherever surfaces are exposed to permanent heavy loads. It consists of a resin and a hardener, a contour spatula, a processing spatula as well as a pair of gloves to protect the skin during processing. The epoxy repair kit can be used as wear protection on pump housings, pipes, chutes, hoppers, slide bearings, valves, pumps, castings, pipe bends and cyclones.
