WEICON Solar-Flex MS Polymer 290 ml PROPERTIES: WEICON Solar-Flex is adhesive, non-corrosive, can be painted over "wet in wet", weather-resistant, UV-resistant and silicone-, isocyanate-, halogen- and solvent-free. The very high initial adhesion and the rapid build-up of adhesive strength enable bonding even on vertical surfaces. APPLICATION: The elastic MS polymer-based adhesive is especially suitable for the solar industry. It replaces conventional fastening methods in the assembly of solar and photovoltaic systems. PROCESSING: The surfaces must be clean and free of grease (e.g. WEICON Surface Cleaner). For certain materials or extreme requirements, we recommend the use of an adhesion promoter (primer). Mechanical surface pre-treatment, e.g. by sanding or sandblasting, can also significantly improve adhesion. Apply with a hand-operated pressure gun for 310 ml cartridges with piston rod and automatic dispensing system (e.g. WEICON Compressed Air Cartridge Gun). To ensure optimum wetting, the bonded parts must be joined before the first skin has formed on the adhesive. STORAGE: WEICON Elastic Adhesives and Sealants have a shelf life of 12 months if stored unopened in a normal climate (+23°C and 50 % relative humidity). SAFETY: When processing WEICON products, the physical, safety, toxicological & ecological data and regulations of the EC Safety Data Sheets (www.WEICON.de) must be observed.
