WEICON Primer G 50 g Set | Adhesion Promoter as pre-treatment for bonding rubber and metal before using urethanes. APPLICATION: - thoroughly clean surfaces to be treated (recommendation: WEICON Surface Cleaner) - mix the 2- component - pour the contents of the syringe completely into the bottle and then close it - shake vigorously for two minutes - Apply Primer G evenly to the dry and clean surface with a brush. - After 30-60 minutes, the primer can be coated with WEICON Urethane 85 - ready! TECHNICAL DATA: Colour: yellowish, transparent Pot life at +20 °C: 15 minutes Overcoating with polyurethane: after 30 to 60 minutes PROPERTIES: Before bonding urethanes, it is often useful to apply a bonding agent to the surfaces to be bonded in order to improve the adhesive strength. The adhesion promoter can be used especially for the pre-treatment of various rubber materials and metal surfaces before using urethanes. Primer G is a 2-component primer consisting of a resin and hardener. In use, the hardener is added to the resin in the syringe, then the bottle is shaken for two minutes. The polyurethane primer can be coated with the urethane after just 30 to 60 minutes.
