The safe has an inbuilt system to create a 3-6 digit user and master password. If the password is forgotten, the safe can be opened using the master password.
If you do not want to disclose your password, use the asterisks key on the operating panel to hide the code.
The safe is operated by 4 x 1.5 V AA batteries. If the battery is drained, there is an option of external battery back-up until you replace the existing one inside the safe.
In emergencies such as forgotten user and master password, the manual override key can be used to open and operate the safe.
To keep your belongings secure, the auto freeze mode in the safe gets activated when the wrong user code is entered four times and stays frozen for 5 minutes before the user can try again
When the battery of the safe is low, an indication of low battery flashes on the screen.
