WEICON Mounting Adhesive Tape. APPLICATION: WEICON Grey Assembly Tape is a strong double-sided adhesive tape made of modified acrylic foam. The tape is particularly suitable for bonding parts with low surface energy, such as PE and PP, and for powder coated surfaces. In combination with WEICON adhesives and sealants, it can be used as a fixing aid for hybrid bonding. The tape has a high degree of flexibility to optimally compensate for possible stresses during bending. It can be used for permanent bonding both indoors and outdoors. The tape is UV and moisture resistant. The grey adhesive mounting tape can be used in various fields of application, such as in car body and vehicle technology, in the caravan sector, in the electronics industry, in mechanical engineering and in boat technology. TECHNICAL DATA: The adhesive tape made of pure acrylic adhesive has a tape thickness of 0.9mm with an elongation at break of 750%. In addition, it withstands the following forces: Breaking Load: 10N/cm. Adhesion strength on steel (72h): 20N/cm. Temperature resistance: -40°C to +120°C. INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE: For best results, the surfaces to be bonded should be clean (WEICON Surface Cleaner), dry and as smooth as possible. The application temperature must be above 10°C. The mounting tape is not suitable for wallpaper or other sensitive surfaces. If the tape is removed, the subfloor may be damaged.
