WEICON Easy-Mix PU-240 50 ml Polyurethane Adhesive PROCESSING: The high-viscosity polyurethane-based adhesive is fast-curing, high-strength and bonds fibre composites, plastics, polyurethane, epoxies, polyester, metal, wood and ceramics. APPLICATION: The adhesive bonds numerous materials such as fibre composites, plastics, polyurethane, epoxies, polyester, metals, wood and ceramics to and among each other with high tensile, shear and peel strength. PROCESSING: A prerequisite for perfect bonding is clean and dry bonding surfaces (e.g. cleaning and degreasing with WEICON Surface Cleaner). WEICON Easy-Mix products can be applied directly from double cartridges with the static mixer supplied. Discard the first 5 cm of the dosed bead. The adhesive is applied on one side. Higher strengths can be achieved by further pretreatment of the surfaces. Some low-energy plastics can only be bonded after special pre-treatment of the surfaces by e.g. fluorination, low-pressure plasma, corona, flame treatment or similar. STORAGE: In unopened condition and storage at normal climate (+23°C and 50% rel. humidity) 9 months shelf life. SAFETY: When processing WEICON products, the physical, safety, toxicological & ecological data and regulations of the EC safety data sheets must be observed.
